Ingredients

12 Sweet Hawaiian Rolls

6 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/3 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup crushed pineapple (optional, for added flavor)

1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional, for topping)

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional, for topping)

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.

Slice the Sweet Hawaiian Rolls in half horizontally and place them cut-side up in the greased baking dish, filling it completely. You can also add crushed pineapple in between the rolls for a tropical twist.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the rolls in the baking dish, ensuring each roll is well soaked. If desired, gently press down to ensure all pieces are covered.

Optionally, sprinkle shredded coconut and chopped nuts evenly over the top for added texture and flavor.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the egg mixture is set.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Enjoy your delicious Sweet Hawaiian Roll French Toast Bake!
