Ingredients

1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 6-8 limes)

¾ cup agave syrup or honey (adjust to taste)

2 cups sparkling water or club soda

Ice cubes

Lime wedges and fresh strawberries for garnish

Coarse salt or sugar for rimming the glasses (optional)

Instructions

In a blender, combine the fresh strawberries and agave syrup (or honey). Blend until smooth.

Strain the strawberry puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove seeds, pressing down with a spatula to extract all the juice.

Stir in the freshly squeezed lime juice into the strawberry puree mix until well combined.

Fill glasses with ice cubes up to the rim.

Pour the strawberry-lime mixture over the ice, filling each glass about two-thirds full.

Top each glass with sparkling water or club soda, stirring gently to combine.

If you wish, rim the glasses with lime juice and dip them in coarse salt or sugar for an extra touch.

Garnish with lime wedges and fresh strawberries on the rim of the glasses.

Serve immediately to enjoy the fresh and zesty flavors!
