Ingredients

1 lb flank steak, sliced into thin strips

3 tablespoons honey

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

8 oz rotini pasta

1 cup broccoli florets

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Steak: In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Add the sliced steak, coat well, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).

Cook the Pasta and Broccoli: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the rotini pasta and cook according to package instructions. In the last 3 minutes of cooking, add in the broccoli florets. Drain and set aside.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the marinated steak, spreading it out in an even layer. Sear for 3-4 minutes until nicely browned, stirring occasionally. Pour in any remaining marinade and allow it to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, letting the sauce thicken.

Combine and Serve: Add the cooked rotini and broccoli to the skillet with the steak. Toss everything together until evenly coated with the sticky sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish: Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top.
