1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled (Italian sausage works great)

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until combined.
