Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup sliced pepperoni

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1 egg (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping, optional)

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles on a clean surface.

In a bowl, combine shredded mozzarella cheese, sliced pepperoni, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Mix well.

Place a spoonful of the cheese and pepperoni mixture at the wide end of each triangle of dough.

Roll the dough from the wide end to the tip, tucking in the sides as you go to prevent the filling from spilling out.

Place the rolled croissant on the prepared baking sheet.

In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush the egg wash over the top of each croissant for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and puffed up.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Optionally, garnish with fresh basil leaves.

Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping and enjoy!
