4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

Juice and zest of 1 large lemon

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed

1/4 cup chicken broth

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper.

    Cook Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the chicken thighs and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.

      Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low and add the butter. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

        Add Lemon Flavor: Pour in the lemon juice and add lemon zest, dried thyme, and oregano. Stir well and let the mixture simmer for about 2 minutes.

          Cook the Green Beans: Add the trimmed green beans to the skillet. Pour in chicken broth and toss to coat the beans. Cover the skillet and let them cook for 5-7 minutes, or until tender but still crisp.

            Combine Everything: Return the chicken to the skillet, nestling it among the green beans. Allow everything to warm through together for about 2-3 minutes.

              Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
