Ingredients

1 pound salmon fillet (skinless, boneless, cut into 1-inch cubes)

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)

3 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)

1 tablespoon green onions (chopped, for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Set aside.

Coat the Salmon: In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Toss the salmon cubes in the flour mixture until evenly coated.

Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Ensure the oil is hot enough before adding the salmon bites to achieve that crispy texture.

Fry the Salmon: Add the salmon bites to the skillet in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches). Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.

Glaze the Salmon: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and pour in the honey-garlic sauce. Allow it to simmer for 1-2 minutes, then add the crispy salmon bites back into the pan. Toss to coat the salmon in the glaze, cooking for an additional minute.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and transfer the honey garlic salmon bites to a serving plate. Garnish with chopped green onions and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
