1 pound rotini pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the rotini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water.

    Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
