Ingredients

1 cup cooked and shredded chicken (grilled or rotisserie)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup coleslaw mix (green cabbage and carrots)

2 green onions, sliced

1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup ranch dressing

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon chili powder

20 wonton wrappers

Vegetable oil (for frying)

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken Filling: In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, olive oil, coleslaw mix, green onions, ranch dressing, soy sauce, garlic powder, and chili powder. Mix until everything is well incorporated.

Prepare the Wonton Wrappers: Preheat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C). Gently press each wonton wrapper into a muffin tin to create a taco shell shape. You can use the bottom of a shot glass to help mold them.

Fry the Wontons: Once the oil is hot, carefully fry the wonton wrappers in batches for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove them and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Assemble the Tacos: Once the wonton shells are ready and cooled slightly, fill each one with the chicken mixture. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and garnish with fresh cilantro.

Serving Suggestions: Optionally, drizzle some extra ranch dressing over the tacos before serving, and serve with lime wedges on the side for extra zest.
